My favourite ‘have a break’ place in Amsterdam is the kitsch and hip pie cafe ‘De taart van mijn Tante’. These delicious pies come in all shapes and colours, decorated with sugar, fruit and even Kens & Barbies.
Enjoying my strawberry pie with yellow sprinkles the chic appearance of Mr. Jones caught my eyes. His friendly and charming look made me decide to order a big teapot for two. Hospitable Mr. Jones is he introduced me to his friend Smoking Joe and told me some beautiful stories about Chef Chaoun and Cape Farewell.

In terms of the massive and dramatic environmental/ economic crisis that we are facing, this change is absolutely needed.

Basically the essence of this ‘awareness movement’ takes place in the being and hearts of optimistic but critical thinking people.
