6. Exhibition YOI: Jordy Huinder

Stylist Jordy Huinder, also know from ILOVEFAKEMAGAZINE, will make his Sustainable Style Statement by showing three stylish outfits. By selecting work of young talented designers Jordy Huinder will show us a new approach on Upcycling.

David van der Schraaf (student at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague): ‘I was fascinated by the form, structure and flexibility of this rubber that is
actually waste material. I tried to give a clear course from sizes 2d to 3D. I used over 10 kilos of the rubber for this design.’

YOI: is based on the ‘bigger picture’ in which we are on our way to a more beautiful and balanced world wherein sustainable thinking, design, fashion, people and business will make the difference.

In terms of the massive and dramatic environmental/ economic crisis that we are facing, this change is absolutely needed.

Basically the essence of this ‘awareness movement’ takes place in the being and hearts of optimistic but critical thinking people.
